Option 1: Scales, Broken Chords and Arpeggios

Option 2: Study

LE COUPPEY Study No.17 from LCM Piano handbook grade 2

Viva Voce Candidates should be able to:
name, and explain the meaning of, all basic notational elements in the music performed including: staff, bars and bar-lines, clefs, pitches of individual notes, rhythmic values
of notes and rests (including dotted notes), key and time signatures, accidentals, dynamics, articulation markings, phrases, ornaments, and any additional markings;
explain which is their favourite piece and why;
assign simple descriptive words to pieces to describe their mood ('happy', 'sad', 'bouncy', 'jazzy', 'gentle', etc.)
